These bizarre traits are a relatively recent phenomenon- and are eerily reminiscent of many traits that once belonged to true dragons. Such things were always possible, but were so rare as to be considered a legend at best. These days, they seem to be showing up more and more frequently- a possible sign that the Dragolets' binding curse is growing weaker.
