Age restriction

This website (dragolets.com), its associated species (Dragolets), all officially-run community spaces, and all game functions are intended for users 18 and older. Users under the age of 18 may not register for or use dragolets.com, nor may they obtain any Dragolet designs. 

If a user is discovered to be under the age of 18, their account on dragolets.com will be banned, and all of their characters onsite will be deactivated. This ban and deactivation of characters will not be removed until the day the user turns 18, or two years from the date of the ban- whichever period of time is longer.

content warnings

Please take note that despite having a cute and colorful aesthetic, dragolets.com and the Dragolet species have some content that some users may be averse to.
This includes but is not limited to the following:

- Violence/Blood
- Swearing/Strong Language
- Character Death
- Body Horror
- Creepy/Unsettling Imagery

Some of these things, particularly elements of body horror and unsettling imagery, may be present on specific traits or characters themselves. Please be careful and judge for yourself prior to joining whether or not dragolets.com and the Dragolet species are for you.

Fluffy Dragons

We are not claiming to own the concept of a cute, fluffy dragon. Those have existed long before Dragolets, and will go right on existing. We don't allow designs that look like Dragolets to be advertised in any of our official channels (our website, discord, etc.) only to ensure no one buys or trades for a design without realizing it isn't usable ingame. Please feel free to continue making whatever fluffy dragons you like, and rest assured that no one is going to get all twisted up about it.

We just ask that users do not make fluffy dragons that look exactly like Dragolets, and then go on to call them a "Dragolet" or advertise them to other users with that name. We also ask that users avoid using Dragolet lore, assets, or NPCs in their non-Dragolet characters' stories.

We reserve the right to deny services to users that make us uncomfortable, or users with brand new, empty, or unverified accounts. 

Additionally, please understand that we are able to run and provide this game because it is fun for us. It is a hobby, not a business. If users begin to turn this into a hostile space by harassing or gossiping about specific community members offsite, or bringing their arguments and personal issues into public community areas, they will be banned from all aspects of this species and given no opportunity to return.

If running this game ceases to be fun, we will no longer be able to do it.

We understand that people are extremely passionate about original species and the virtual worlds they inhabit, and they want their favorite species to be the best they possibly can be. Unfortunately, this passion sometimes manifests in a toxic way, making it difficult for others to enjoy the game.

If you have suggestions for our site, please use our suggestion box [here]- it even has an anonymous option! If you have concerns about another user's behavior, please reach out to our staff team via a report onsite, a ticket in the discord, or via the suggestion box if you wish to remain anonymous. If you are personally annoyed by another user, think another user's art isn't worth their prices, or dislike someone else's designs, please- keep it to yourself. This goes for talk about other species, too- Dragolet staff is not interested in maintaining a space for users to complain about others' pricing or creative efforts.

Remember that the people you interact with, whether they be other players or the volunteer staff members that operate this game for you, are human on the other side of the screen just like you. Please be kind.
