Squamat

The most southerly of the so-called "modern regions," Squamat is considered the heartland of Serpentem's society, and is where most of the food distributed through the northern regions comes from. Although the dragolets of this region have access to modern technology, it is somewhat diminished largely due to the extremely rural nature of this region's communities. Internet access is sparse, and cellphones don't always work- so folks here tend to highly value what social time they can get face-to-face.
